What is Big Ambitions?

What is Big Ambitions?

Big Ambitions is a single-player role-playing business simulation developed and published by Hovgaard Games. You begin with little money in New York City and can work jobs, rent property, open businesses, hire employees and gradually build anything from a small local shop to a large corporate network. The game gives you room to set your own pace: earn first, learn a system, then decide whether the next dollar belongs in stock, staff, property or a new location. Use the category map below when a question moves from personal routines into the wider operating network.

The simulation mixes hands-on life-sim systems with deeper management, including pricing, importing, warehouses, headquarters, factories, real estate, investments and rival businesses. Version 1.0 added The Hamptons as the seventh neighborhood along with mansions, a private driver, food delivery, an HQ Pricing Manager, banking changes and minigames. This wiki keeps those facts separate from older Early Access advice so a returning player can quickly tell what belongs to the current full release.

Big Ambitions Wiki FAQ

Big Ambitions Wiki FAQ

Is Big Ambitions multiplayer?

The current Steam listing identifies Big Ambitions as a single-player game. This wiki therefore treats multiplayer as a question to verify against future official announcements, not as a published game mode.

What platforms can run Big Ambitions?

The supplied research and current store listing identify Windows and macOS as the supported platforms. Console and mobile pages are kept as availability questions rather than promised releases.

How many neighborhoods are in Big Ambitions?

The current full-release context has seven New York neighborhoods, with The Hamptons introduced as the seventh in version 1.0.

Does Big Ambitions have Steam Workshop support?

Yes. Steam Workshop is integrated, so mods and community content should be checked on their own pages for current compatibility and instructions.

Where should a new player start?

Start with the Beginner Guide, then compare business types and cash-flow decisions in Businesses before moving into employees, headquarters and logistics.

Is this an official Big Ambitions website?

No. Big Ambitions Wiki is an independent fan-made reference. Hovgaard Games, the game, its artwork and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
