Required equipment and cinema buildings
The Cinema community reference requires Ticket Kiosk, Projection Booth, Cinema Screen with projector, and at least one primary product. Bigger Ambitions lists Projectionist, Customer Service and Cleaning for cinema staffing; actors and stage crew belong to the separate Theater business.

The kiosk reference is 50 customer capacity. The counts above only divide the building limit by that value; they are not tested placements or a guarantee that screens, staffing and concessions can reach the same throughput.
A practical zoning plan
- Plan entrance → ticket kiosk → screening access, leaving ticket queues clear of the concession counter.
- Keep projection equipment and its staffed work area accessible. Check each screen’s schedule and requirements before adding another.
- Add stocked concession products supported by the business, such as soda, popcorn, cotton candy and slushies. Confirm equipment needs in the business panel.

Licensing fees and losses
The EA 0.10 developer discussion says the morning licensing payment must be affordable or shows cannot run. Its dollar figures and a player’s profitable 24-hour cinema are historical cases, not 1.0 earnings forecasts. Check opening hours, projection coverage, ticket price, concessions and the actual licensing bill together before expanding.
